Pollard has never given his shows the time of day and that pisses him off. Having said that if Jamie ever went on his show Ken would kiss his ass the entire time.

Dude is a fake tough guy.
I don’t think Beth has ever been on either but he thinks she’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don’t get it.

New 2 Guys dropped…does anyone else not give a **** about Murphy Jr’s boxing stuff?

Like, good for the kid and it seems like a cool thing for him…but I just don’t have interest in it. Skipped the first 15 min of the pod.
These shows have always heavily featured their personal lives. Murph's kid doing the boxing thing is totally consistent with that. They're all close friends, their shows are on the same network, etc.

I personally don't care about it, but part of the reason I listen to these shows is that I do enjoy the discussion of their personal lives, inter-relationships, and what not.

It's not some random side bar, IMO. This is consistent with what Iowa Everywhere has kind of always been.

I don't necessarily care, but prefer this 10x over the Clark segment that was on every one of their shows back when she was at Iowa. I also will definitely pay to go watch Blum fight Hassel if they can actually put that together!

I don't listen to Murph and Andy. Stuff like this is a good reminder I don't need to waste my time.

I will say that I have come around to liking Sean more lately now that he is running his own show. Granted I only get to listen to about 20 minutes a day of it on my drive into work but he does a really good job of talking sports and staying mostly on topic and not going down the rabbit holes that Travis Ross and Heather sometimes do and get way off topic and redundant.

Did he ever announce anything about if he is going to have a permanent co-host or is it just always going to be a random guest host with him?

He mentioned that they were working on hiring a new co-host. That could be a line of BS coming from management and they'll scrap the show before hiring someone. They will likely draw this out for a long time so they don't have to pay someone.

Yeah when Travis left I thought they surely would just ditch the morning show and move Sean back to the afternoons. I can hardly stand to listen to Heather and Lucas anymore but have surprisingly found myself liking what Sean has done with the morning show so far. He actually talks sports and gets some guests on that are interesting. It's a a breath of fresh air compared to Beavis and Butthead running the show like Travis and Ross sounded like sometimes.

I’ve always found fascinating the thankfully small number of podcast hosts, etc who think their listeners are interested in their personal lives. Murph and Andy start off every show talking about what they’ve experienced in their personal lives since the last show. So you know what you’re getting. I’ve been listening less and less lately. I listen to a gamut of podcasts ranging from sports to a myriad of different topics. The number of hosts that feel the need to talk about their personal experiences is infinitesimal.

I know we have some people that seem to love and defend Travis in here. How is the new show with Ross doing?

Their YouTube channel shows they get about 1K views per show.

(For perspective, 2 Guys and M&A get anywhere from 1,500-3,300 per episode.)

Is youtube the only place Travis and Ross have their stuff? I know a lot of people listen to Iowa Everywhere on spotify and other podcast locations.

I believe so, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
They stream online at therushradio. com along with Facebook instagram etc.

They are actually getting good guests and it’s not as sophomoric as normal. Probably too much for some of you. But they have quite a few sponsors and it’s pretty legit quality product especially for such a new show.

On Murph and Andy today Murph was coming from San Diego as I guess Bryce Miller former register writer isn't doing well.
