Watching other games I feel like most other teams work the ball around and simply catch without dribbling initially to see what's there.

Is it hyperbole that ISU tends to just catch the pass and try to get downhill right away seemingly way more, leading to the turnovers?

If this group goes on a run it may hinge on that concept over anything else.

I’m having a hard time getting excited about this game and I’m struggling to remain objective about the rest of the season.
To be honest, the team’s performance in the last game has me irrationally worried about not winning another game this season. Since this game is at Hilton, I will resurrect the minuscule amount of optimism that the first half of the last game all but destroyed in me.

The Cyclones are going to make their free throws and not make a bunch of baffling turnovers:

All just guesses, but with no Gilbert, and CuJo still not fully himself, plus I don't think using Jefferson as a "point forward" is a good move. He has been less aggressive, not scoring as well, afraid to shoot a 3. We are just off kilter. If we win, it won't be by much, unless something changes. Just hoping for 72 - 71 Cyclones. Any win should at least help move us back toward restoring what we had.

We'll see how it goes.

The gameday thread from @KSU last year had similar vibes of some thinking ISU was toast and they won 5 in a row before almost beating a really good Illinois team.

Things do need to change though.

I think TJ has Jefferson’s attention and he goes off tonight. Milan has a bounce back game, too. If CuJo is closer to 100% I think we can win without Keshon. If Keshon plays I think we win for sure.

I think the home crowd wills the team to a win (with or without Gilbert). But similar to when Milan was out, it’s clear that when one cog in the machine is out, the whole thing falls apart. Still think we’re a good team, but the last couple of weeks has shown that without all the cogs, the ceiling is a sweet 16. Still trust TJ to have things rolling as we head into March
