I understand that TJ like to trap and force teams to speed up and make mistakes. But some teams it's better to slow down and make them earn good shots. Some of this falls on Tamin to just play solid on-ball defense and keep his guy out of the paint. OSU's a quick teams so when our defense gets in scramble mode, it benefits their guys to get offensive rebounds as well. OSU has rebounded over 40% of their misses.
Don't even know where to start on offense. Turnovers, no patience, taking bad 3's, an offense that relies on passes & dribbling on the perimeter. We lack any type of post offense and limited screening and cutting to the bucket.
Sure it hurts not having Gilbert. But our offense looks broke and has for long stretches during games. Too much dribbling, which quick teams like. There's a common thread why we haven't looked good against WVU, KSU and OSU.
