Refs really trying to take the ball away from us in any way possible today.
That Heise foul (where he gets elbowed din the face) which ended up a s a 3 for Cryer was my losing it point with saying these refs aren't putting their finger on the game at least a littel bit.
They wouldn’t do that because they are final 4 officials and a ******* joke

Not really frustrating at all. We played with Houston without our top two scorers. Beyond happy here
It’s not sports-frustrating when the opposing team drains monster shot after shot after shot, regardless of the level of difficulty!?

I might seriously need your help to understand how that’s not “frustrating at all”! Sincerely.

Difference today was obviously Cryer. The 2 guys we have that are volume scorers that can go off Jones and Gilbert were out. Their's couldn't miss. In fact, usually have little chance if the other team makes 60% from 3. Jefferson with a terrible shooting day but getting 7 steals is probably a wash. Milan's 1st half doomed us even though he got a little right in the 2nd.
On the plus side, I hope this game is like the tcu game without Lipsey last year. Gave a ton of confidence to Gilbert and even more Curtis. I think this could be the case for Heise. Played great today in a game where they needed more from him.

Countdown to a more healthy Keshon. If they really want to get him healthy they'll probably give him a week off and he returns next weekend for Arizona in Ames.

Would have loved the upset but short handed, Jefferson struggling and a tough road whistle they still battled. Think they learned some things and it’s a loss that won’t hurt and may even help in the public’s eye

I like the effort and I LOVE Jefferson. But what do we have to do to get him to take over a game? His passiveness on offense drives me nuts. He has the potential to dominate scoring and we need him to in games like this.
His assists are huge. He had 8 today. I’d rather have him making those passes than throwing up a contested shot. As long as Milan is looking to score like he did the 3nd half today, I’m good with Jefferson distributing.

Refs gifted Houston 6 points with the cylinder call and the missed push off on Lipsey. We’d have been in double bonus earlier too.

Not to mention our guys getting absolutely mugged with no call down the stretch.

That’s the game, folks.

I don’t want to hear anyone saying “don’t complain about officiating”. Absolutely egregious decisions by the refs swung that game significantly.
