MM's play in big road games the last 2 seasons has been really rough. He needs to elevate his game in these situations. Still love the guy though...

I have to laugh at the ”experts “ trying to pump up this game as an actual contest. Trying to gloss over the fact that the Cyclones are short handed. It’s easy for the Houston defense to look great playing against the Cyclone’s 2nd and 3rd string guards.

Shorthanded is putting it mildly. Take 31 points and 63 minutes away from any team and they're going to be pretty bad.

Playing against HOUSTON without 2 guards is kind of a big part of that today

Giving up 34 points when a team is shooting effectively perfectly is nothing to be sad about, that's a decent day defensively. The offense and especially the turnovers need help, but that's expected with the missing pieces.

I'd like to see more shots go up, especially off of HOU doubling the ball so much. Pass, catch, shoot. Less drives and dribbles and thinking about it. Get more shots up, it's okay if they miss. I'll take that over a TOV.

They're still not great but the way Houston closes in on the ball, turnovers are understandable today.
