I have to laugh at the ”experts “ trying to pump up this game as an actual contest. Trying to gloss over the fact that the Cyclones are short handed. It’s easy for the Houston defense to look great playing against the Cyclone’s 2nd and 3rd string guards.

It sucks that 2 years in they really haven't had to face our full homecourt environment.

Entirely dodging a game in Ames this year, and getting us during a winter break game last year that also had a snowstorm that kept a lot of our fans away.

They still lost last year and they still will have to face us in Hilton next year.

We need to stop about the officials. They called 11 fouls the first half. We shot 3 times the free throws they did. They are the better team with what’s out there. You are on the road in a top 10 matchup. Probably not going to get a bunch of calls.

6-22 from the field. Jefferson and Momcolovic are 1-12. Rest of team 50%. Jefferson has 4 points, 5 steals, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and a block so good overall stat line. Momcolovic has 1 rebound. He has to be better. If he can get hot and Cryer comes back to normal, we can compete in the 2nd half.

Kelderman actually played excellent in the first half given his talent. The staff has to be happy about his effort out there. He’s clearly inferior talent wise, but he is maxing out his ability and effort.
