Crystal Falls, MI has a town festival each year where they celebrate a huge fungus/mushroom type of thing that is in the area.

I can't remember if they have samples/displays of it out and about or not but it's edible.

One of these years...

A thermonuclear strike is clearly the only rational response.

Testifying
Zombie by The Cranberries intesifies.
You’re not my friend anymore.

With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns,
In @Angie 's head, JP4CY is not her friend,
He is crying.

In your head, in your head,
Zombie, Spiders, Zombie.
What's in your head, in your head?
Zombie, Spiders, Zombie.

It's only a matter of time before an Irish alcoholic passes out in a cave and one of those bastards crawls into their ear. Get ready for the Zombie Apocalypse, everyone!

From my perspective, the good news is, at least they're not snakes.

I don't think the Komodo dragon gets enough cred for its abilities as a terrible thing to come across on a walk.

They chase you, bite you, let you run away thinking you're fine, find you when you're paralyzed and basically eat you whole.

And that's just like a normal Wednesday for them.

I was in Costa Rica last week, and watched a 3-inch Tarantula Hawk Wasp pull a big Tarantula out of a hole, sting it to paralyze it, and drag it to it's burrow.

What happens from there is she lays a single egg on it, the larva emerges and burrows into the spider, where it feeds on the spider's organs (which are kept "fresh" throughout due to leaving the spider alive but paralyzed).

Nature is metal.

"Time for bed kids! Would you like me to read Goodnight Moon or shall I regale you with tales of my trip to Costa Rica?"

Well, let’s add Costa Rica to the Clonehomer do not fly list.

That's the plot to Alien but in nature.

If I saw a three inch wasp I would lock my self in my room and duct tape all the vents. I know those jerks are going to try to get me and will screw the screws backwards from the inside out to open the vents.

I have a video of it I could share if I could figure out how to post it.
