It doesn't matter but nobody said Watson shouldn't play.
This is just more 'should have been playing a bunch against directional State in November and ISU would have won tonight' coping shtick.
He wouldn't have fouled there
Until their win at KU, no one was real sure if they were legit. And KU gifted them that one. As bad as this Iowa St loss was, it will wasn't near as bad as the choke job KU had at home.
They also hit a late shot to beat UCF. The KU game was KU losing it more than Houston winning it
They have 2 quad 1wins. Last check ISU has 6.
They are probably a lot like ISU and they have a few warts
I have said that ISU is a bunch of closers. Unfortunately they picked a bad time for Dennis Eckersley night

Not sure if that makes me feel better or worse. But good perspective on a court we're not used to playing on.
Just really hard to take everyone's best shot, two times every week.
I'd take last year's Houston team, but seems reasonable to lose more conference games on a 20 game conference schedule vs 18 game schedule last year.
It seamed like Houston was a team of walking wounded at the end of last season and ncaa tournament
I'll take the blame. When we were hitting both free throws to go up 3 since we are the Road Dawgs I was searching for an appropriate gif. Should know by now it's never over to all 0's.
Believe it was Jones (but could be wrong). Likely worried of getting to close and fouling. Easy to second guess now we know that he made it. Sucks because we had the game in our grasp.
