Every Yr I'm just impressed with the players TJ brings in, they might not all be hits but he has never brought one in that blows up the chemistry and most of them fill a niche pretty darn well.
I think that’s what Bilas was trying to say. Not effectively but I didn’t take that as a knock on our team.
It was a really stupid quote by Bilas. I think he thought he was being sort of complimentary but under no context was it appropriate. And no, Jay - there is no evidence that “many” teams can beat us. There was absolutely NO reason for that part of the quote. It was unprovoked.
I didn't take offense. There are certainly several teams that can beat this team. But I think it would take that team's absolute best game.
It’s not something you normally say about the #2 team in the country.
Continue to be butt hurt about it or choose to focus on the “this team can beat anyone in the country” part. Up to you.
He had some weird comments but I love his commentary. He’s probably top 3 I would watch a game and prefer the commentary
It's not crazy. He is absolutely one of our best defenders. He just sucks creating his own offense.
Agree. Anyone watching that game who’s not a fan of KU or ISU would objectively say Bilas was highly complimentary of ISU - our program as a whole. The Hilton environment. TJ. Our players. All of it.

That was a clunky comment but I feel like it just came out weird and wasn't a dig at us. He was super complimentary of us all night. Basically said we were forcing TOs and our TOs were more self inflicted. And he seemed to talk more about ISU than KU.
I’d like to know more about the coverage/production. Just got home from game. Was it a joke or good? Obviously I’m bias but our crowd is incredibly basketball smart as a whole. I was nearly shocked by that.
