Not worried as we clearly didn’t need it. They did exactly what they needed to do tonight. That is the beauty of this team. Curtis and Jackson outscored KU in the first half. Others stepped up in the second.

Neither of them forced anything. 8 boards (3 offensive), 3 steals, a block, only 2 TOs and only 2 shots taken.

All we needed was solid minutes with good defense and “little things” which they both gave.
So you're saying you cut off one head 2 more will take it's place. Are we the baddies?

Hail Hydra!

By my count, it’s 5-11 in the past 6 years and 3-8 since TJ took over. Has been competitive, but that’s certainly not us kicking his ass.
Last three home games the clones have kicked their ass. First couple TJ teams just didn’t quite have the offensive firepower to get it done (although we did smoke them at Hilton in 22).

It is scary to think that we could have beat Kansas by 30 tonight if we were just a little less careless with the ball. We are that good.

In a way it's one of my favorite ISU wins as of late.

KU may not be the national favorite but they're still really good with an elite coach.

ISU's impatience drives me batty and they were tight tonight around the rim but still played through it and grinded out 72 points against a really good defense.

Watson looked really good tonight. Jackson might be better off the bench. Self did really well to keep the top from blowing off Hilton otherwise that have wouldn't have been close.

TJ 85-36. If he does it 1 less game earlier he would need to go 15-11 no way that happens. He's goes to crush fastest to 100.

So bummed about Milan. Tough season to this point, but everyone here knows he woulda had the inevitable 5-7ish 3pt nights.
Then again, so happy to see Watson get minutes.

Of all the things Self does at an elite level two of the top imo are working or feeling out the crowd and buckets/looks out of a time out to stop a run/momentum.

Way up there
Nice win, but worried that Heise/Watson combined for only 1 point.
We didn't really play great but KU is one of the best defensive teams in the country by most stats. They been giving up less than 60 points a game in big 12 play. We didn't have one of our best scorers and got meh type of offensive games from Gilbert and Jefferson, basically nothing from the guys you mentioned, only 4 from Chat, turned the ball over 13 times but we still put up 74 on them.
