KU was very impressive on defense but they’ll be so much better when Harris, Dickinson and Adams move on. They just bog down the offense so much.
I don't know about that. Haven't done well getting offense in the portal.

I dunno, there is a LOT of competition out there. Speak of the devil, Hawkins on line 2.
I just don’t see it when I watch. He’s always flat footed. Doesn’t do much with back to the basket. A few of his makes were right at the hoop with fluke defensive breakdowns or bad bounces for us.

Probably the 7th-8th best player on the floor tonight.

He’s regressed from what I can tell. He was a much greater threat last year (was he there two years ago?)

Nice win, but worried that Heise/Watson combined for only 1 point.
Not worried as we clearly didn’t need it. They did exactly what they needed to do tonight. That is the beauty of this team. Curtis and Jackson outscored KU in the first half. Others stepped up in the second.

Neither of them forced anything. 8 boards (3 offensive), 3 steals, a block, only 2 TOs and only 2 shots taken.

All we needed was solid minutes with good defense and “little things” which they both gave.
