We do our share of playing ass out there. 2 years ago we looked like 5 guys who had never touched a basketball. 2018 and 2016 were similar too. Credit to this team, they gritted out a win. I do think this Iowa team is going to finish better than many think.
AND I think it was exactly TJs plan to not really crank the def until last 5 minutes to avoid a complete parade to the FT line.
Iowa is legitimately good, should be another quad 1 win come NCAA seeding time.
Different guys can carry this team on any given night. And that my friends is a big reason why we're such a dangerous team.

Jefferson and Jones were great the whole game and the whole reason we were only down 7 at the half. The rest of the team stepped up in the 2nd half to give them help, then J & J put the Hoks away.

Not sure which I enjoy more. The disappointment by the Hawkeye fans at the loss, or the egg on the face of the negative posts here. Can't some of the people here put on their big boy (and girl) pants and let the game play out before they make such silly posts. Really? TJ just coached a first Cyclone team to a win at CHA in what a decade or so. Lipsey showed his heart and leadership and finished 3-7 from 3, when posters here were suggesting he should be sitting! And so on.
