Can't have your 5th year point guard have 9 TOs and shoot sub 40% from the FT line and expect a win. Outside of Audi and Addy this team has very minimal offensive threat

Disagree on the last part. They have like 5 high % deep threats, dont they?

But they dont run anything i would call an offense. I think ONE possession i can recall the ball getting reversed and someone hit a 3. Amazing.

Why does Bill always force 80% of possessions thru 1 player?

Have you read any of my other comments? Check 'em, you'll see I also blamed it on stupid turnovers by our great PG and terrible FT shooting by our usually decent Center. But the refs still sucked ****. That can be true at the same time. Addy should not have had to sit as much as she did, for instance. Just awful officiating to go along with a not very good performance.

To be fair. Much of Addy sitting was a coaches decision. Players play with 3 fouls all the time. Bill trying to be cute. Get your best players out there for the most minutes.

Yep, until this issue is resolved our program won't reach the next level in Women's Hoops and quite frankly will probably go down a level.

You have to make up for that with the 4 or wings and we don’t have that. But I’m sure glad we have 7 skinny undersized wings that can shoot a little bit but can’t guard or rebound.

Women’s officiating is never very good… tonight was a standard game.

We are not a quality shooting 3 point team, TO tonight and missed free throws were the difference tonight. Girls played hard, but getting Brown into foul trouble so early in the game, meant she was sitting almost the entire 3rd quarter. EIU started 4 seniors and 1 junior, compare to the age of ISU tonight, we will be stronger and better next season.

BF offense has been stale since Ashley Jones. Audi goes for nearly 30 and we lose? Inexcusable.

It was stale with Ashley too. I think Bill has gotten a bit lazy in these last few years. Nothing overly creative. Max out a player or 2, make dance. Ocasional run to maybe sweet 16. Rinse repeat.

Audi is an elite offensive player one on one on the block. She is poor every other facet. She ruins your entire defense.

She's definitely talented but she isn't at this point in time a generational talent unless S&C can work a miracle and she can transform like Niang did.



And Bill isn't going to beat Iowa again unless he can figure out how to recruit better athletes. It's like watching Bryan Petersen try to compete. GREAT standstill shooter. Going to be ugly other than that. The talent and athleticism gap is HUGE between the rosters.

Sit Bill down with Zach Edey tape. It was never 20 seconds of straight post ups. He was at the high post and setting screens constantly then rolling into the post. You can’t just do straight post ups every time.
