I'm driving 10 hours for the Kansas State game... What is your excuse?

Really very few good excuses to not make the game if you are in Iowa. Cyclone Fans fill the Jack. Don't be wimps because of the cold. Hold Thanksgiving in Ames, bring the family. Help this team and program do something it has never done. If you watch on TV you are not trying very hard to help the team make history.

The fans in attendance finally get to suit up for a game?

I'll definitely watch (on TV) now!

Nah.

The comfort of watching from home is fantastic.

This type of discussion is always pretty dumb because each side ******* about the other. So I'm going to contribute to the dumbness again. ;)

But I will never understand someone who thinks watching the game at home is better than in person. Since we are talking about family and all of that, my best family memories are games that I attended with my dad or mom or siblings. I can absolutely ******* guarantee that the memories I have from this season in Jack Trice with my family will trump any memories I make on Thursday. And there's nothing quite like being at a game when they play Juicy Wiggle at the best time. Or, this season, when they play Mr. Brightside after taking the lead late and whole stadium is singing.

I get bored at live college football games and didn't spend Saturdays going to ISU games growing up and they were rarely on TV so I don't have that 'you just have to see it live to really be a part of it' deal.

It's not much more complicated than that.

Also another mention that I think Juicy Wiggle is kind of dumb.

What Dream or MCYT opinion would put ...

I still remember being in the stands for the win over OSU. No ISU win will ever feel that special while watching on a TV.

We’re not talking about a frozen tundra game. It’s going to be 15 degrees. Put on a warm coat and a hat and you’ll be fine.

I watched the OSU game on my TV and had a great time.

Went out with friends after and had a great time.

I used to like watching games at home, but having watched the away games this year I hate it. They give you the stupid angles and feel they need to zero in on a player on the sidelines while the team is set on the field and then snap back. I just want to see the game and replays. And cheerleaders. I don’t object seeing them .
