That would be Barnes and Goodwin.

One was behind Bacon, Sadowsky, Lovett (and Brezina), the other behind McLaughlin, Brezina, Ellis and Klosterman. Probably with Willich in there somewhere. Maybe Imming.

So…more like fifth team.
Let's give some love to Sadowsky also. He played tonight after being injured. From what I watched (haven't seen complete replay yet), he played pretty well

I think these new young pup LB's play with speed and aggression. Sadowsky maybe finally catching on to this. This is good.

Kudos to LB Coach Kratch, for getting these guys ready, as others have said!

Linebacker U!
I've heard several say, we are down to 4th stringers. Really?

I was at the game today and it was another example of how we just take care of business. This team isn’t flashy or fancy, but we are tough as nails and take care of business. Campbell and the staff did everything right tonight. Remember our defense is so banged up but they were still near perfect. We are now 6-0 and I’m pitching a tent.

Curious how it will go.

Not many losses in the top 10 this week. Ohio State but they lost to #3 so they'll stay in the top 10.

And notre dame, who tied us for #11 last week, had a more dominant win.

Ole Miss will drop, but we could easily end up sitting at 11th still tomorrow with Notre dame at #10
Ok I'll take us at 9th.

Such a big game. When you looked at the schedule pre-season everyone had this game as the speed bump if we could beat Iowa. Texas Tech could be tricky and wins are not gauranteed but we are going to be heavy favorites in our next four games. Wild to think about being in this position.

Shout out to Ryland Barnes, how often has ISU had a walk on scout team guy start and get 9 tackles. Red shirt freshman from an Iowa 1A program starting on the road with a 6-0 record on the line FROM THE SCOUT TEAM!!
He looked like one of our best players on defense tonight. He is absolutely not afraid to stick his nose up in the action. I was impressed with the speed and aggression he played with.

In a game with many memorable plays, my favorite was the call Mouser made on the 4th and 2 in the 4th. Where Hansen ran it solo off the left side out a funky formation. Worked like a charm.

Much appreciation for our rookie OC.
McCarney used to run that play all the time. Bret Meyer and Stevie Hicks got a lot of yards on those

I have liked Brando on our games so far but today was very rough for him. Color guy did his best to keep him in check but there's only so much he could do.
His color guy is terrible. I think he throws Brando off a bit with his babbling.
