Wedding wasn't exciting as I thought it would be. The ceremony was in a little white church in a town of like 100 people. The reception was in an activity center at a fairgrounds. Both places were air conditioned, so that was nice.

Food was great, actually was the same food my sister is having. Beef tips, gravy, mashed potatoes, baked chicken, a couple vegetables, and potato, macaroni, and pasta salads. My sister is substituting the chicken for bbq pulled pork, and a vegetable for mac and cheese though.

Bar selection was terrible in my opinion. Coors light, busch light, high noon, tito's, Malibu, and Korbel. I had one beer was it. Bartenders had such a heavy pour that whatever you ordered was soda flavored liquor. And the bartenders were so trashed by the end of the night, other people had to step in. There was so much liquid spilled on the floor, people were slipping, the bride almost fell down, bottoms of dresses were soaked.

The music was your generic wedding playlist. They did play September being it was the 21st. Thought there would be more country/line dancing type music since they're both farm kids.

Later in the night, my cousin, the groom's dad, brought out nesco cookers filled with pieces of pork tenderloin, pork belly, and bologna. The bologna is amazing.

But it was just a copy paste wedding. Happy for my cousin and his wife of course. As long as they enjoyed it, that's what matters. I don't think there were 500 people, more like 350.

We got interiors all up, plumbed, and tieplated. All that's left to do is layout for trusses. Trusses won't be ready until October 8th. Not sure what we're gonna do until then. Must have 1 guy building them or something.

Started getting a sore throat last night. Feeling not great today. Living the hermit life I haven't even had a cold since 2020 so I guess I am WAY overdue. Seriously, not even a single cold in that time period.

Well, you were recently in a large gathering of people you don't usually spend time with.....

It's always those 30 percent chance of rain days you gotta watch out for. Just enough mist/drizzle to make it annoying to work. We're more concerned about tools getting wet than anything.
