Tampa and Porter were WRs. There's a true freshman making the switch from WR to CB but I can't think of his name. I don't remember which HS safeties moved to CB.
Khijohnn Cummings-Coleman played both ways. He was just primarily recruited as a WR. I think he and Coffey both have very bright futures.

That’s one reason I’m not terribly worried about corners in this class—though I’m taking more of a wait-and-see attitude about the two (LSU and JC) transfers. That depth in the corner room we very much needed.

I really hope Purchase steps up his game this year. He has been good at times and not so good at times.

Agreed. I’m more excited about Williams on the other side. Which is funny because he’s like our lowest ranked recruit in a really long time. Shows that sometimes rankings are wrong

Talk about a diamond in the rough. Only other offer was Tennessee Tech.

If they can land him I would say they had a tremendous year recruiting in state
I gather that OT Nick Brooks decided to move back to Georgia.

Should we somehow manage to flip Meyer—we still have a spot for a TE—it would basically be a clean sweep of everyone we preferred.

6 of the top 10 ain't bad, would have loved to get the Curvey legacy though. Been out of the loop (complete radio silence on me following) since I stopped covering so what happened there?

Also strange to me how few top recruits from Iowa the past couple seasons come from big towns. Marion and Waverly the smallest of the top 10 in 2023, last two classes only have 8 of 20 from larger towns.

From what I understand they prioritized Limbaugh and Verdon over Curvey

Brooks won't ever play at Georgia, he wouldn't have ever played at Iowa, he isnt good. And there's less than a 0% chance we flip Meyer
