Is Wasabi on S 16th St still open too?
That was my question as well. I can't imagine 2 would work.
Anyone remember the cinnamon rolls at Kriana? Bakery in campustown in the late 90’s?

Website only says S 16th.
If Ames was able to sustain two Wasabi locations then that would be great as I'm a big fan and would enjoy two location options when visiting. If that's too much to as for though, I totally get it.

My wife and I never go out to eat at a really good steak and seafood restaurant on a date night without spending over $200 with tip included, which is fine, but a place like Texas Roadhouse is totally acceptable if we take one if our kids and their spouse out to dinner and would like to keep the bill way under the $300+ that it would cost us at the "fancy" restaurant. Both kinds of restaurants have their purpose.
Hope the kids take you and your wife to McDonalds, you cheap SOB.My wife and I never go out to eat at a really good steak and seafood restaurant on a date night without spending over $200 with tip included, which is fine, but a place like Texas Roadhouse is totally acceptable if we take one if our kids and their spouse out to dinner and would like to keep the bill way under the $300+ that it would cost us at the "fancy" restaurant. Aunt Maudes excellent steak....chili filet amazing
The Cafe is very underrated
Cornbred best BBQ I've had. Lived in Dallas for number of years.
I think Ames has a really good resturant scene for the size honestly
Yeah, it's really my fault. I've always enabled it by grabbing the check everywhere and insisting on paying. So, I really don't blame them for letting me pay for everything. I brought it on myself. My old man pays for everything when we go out, and I am 42. He wont let us pay, granted he has more money than he knows what to do with. I can't complain lol. He will even fill up the boat for us in Boji when we go up there. Granted haven't been on the boat this year with the crap they have gone through.
Taza is better and its as authentic of mediterranean food as you’ll get in Ames Iowa.. Garbanzo is Americanized and wasn’t impressed when I went there.I need someone to give me a comp between the two. My family likes Garbanzo, not that it's a great deal or anything, but it's a good change of pace.

My parents do this too. My mom says she can pay now or I get it as inheritance. My old man pays for everything when we go out, and I am 42.
