They changed the capacitor. Checked the voltage and found out the contact is weak. Don't have that part so they have a unit for my bedroom. Starting to cool down finally. I was sweating all day. I needed it.
I think that was the last time I didn't have AC besides during Irma for a few days which was hardcore in South Florida.Seriously, is nobody going to make a quip about how BWRhasnoAC has no AC?
Come on people, such wonderful low hanging fruit.

Yep, and relatively speaking, it's a very cheap fix if you do it yourself. There are some good videos on YouTube that walk you through it..I've seen enough AC repair videos on tiktok that I have a dangerous amount of confidence that I can fix one now, it's the capacitor like 80% of the time.
I would use the air a lot less if I was single. I will come home and almost go into shock walking into the house because the wife cranked down the AC. (I will then go close the windows, which drives me crazy). My vehicles AC went out a few weeks ago, so I go old school and just lower the windows and run the vents. Working outside, you get used to it a little more.I think that was the last time I didn't have AC besides during Irma for a few days which was hardcore in South Florida.
I'm a carpenter and do hot yoga. I still never get used to it. Sweating in bed is hell.I would use the air a lot less if I was single. The humidity is what gets to me. A dryer heat doesn't affect as much. The worst I remember was a couple years ago and it was like 50 but 95% humidity. Any activity made me sweat while working and the temperature would then make it feel like i was outside in 30 degree weather.I'm a carpenter and do hot yoga. I still never get used to it. Ya, problem with dry heat is you don't realize how much water you're losing. The humidity is what gets to me. A dryer heat doesn't affect as much. Opposite problem here. My wife keeps it at 75 and still has blankets on. I think she's missing a circulatory system. If left to my own devices, that baby is set at 68-70.I would use the air a lot less if I was single. 4-60 air conditioning. Unless you drive an older model truck or el Camino, then it’s 2-60.I would use the air a lot less if I was single. If your AC is out don’t replace your furnace unless you absolutely have too. Maybe ask more than one place. My new AC will be $5700. In a big farm house.
4 windows down going 60mphHuh?
