Dochterman said CC is the most influential woman's athlete in history

The obvious answer is probably Mia Hamm but Clark is in the running. What is the attendance difference in her games vs the other WNBA games?

If by influential you mean ratings/attendance impact, I think those two women are head and shoulders above everyone else. There are other ways to be influential though obviously. Lisa Leslie and Cheryl Swoops helped build the WNBA, Billie Jean King beating a man, Serena Williams being dominant (and also a black woman in an otherwise pretty white sport)

Listening to Miller Condon podcast of today. Miller legit said CC is best woman to dribble a basketball. Unreal
CW said a couple of episode ago on 2 Guys she was the best woman’s basketball passer of all time.

Simone Biles would like to speak, please.

She is the greatest gymnast of all time. Does she draw ratings though? I think you're confusing greatness for influence. Gymnastics is basically just as popular now as before Simone came onto the scene. Extremely popular once every four years and very much an afterthought outside of that.

That might actually be the most obscene CC related statement yet, and that's saying something. She's not even a top 20 player in the damn WNBA right now.

I agree. She didn't belong on the olympic team over more deserving players. The ironic part is the least confident part in Clark's offensive game is her handle so it's funny that he called her the best to dribble a basketball.

Even if she fully reaches her potential I don't think you could say she was the best to ever play similar to how you don't really see anyone saying Curry is the best to ever play in the NBA.

After seeing her shoot an air ball from 5' on ESPN highlights this morning, you have to believe that everthing she has gone througth the last year, it starting to take a toll on her mentally.

She hasn't had a break since like September. The fatigue, mentally and physically, has to be crazy. Seems like she has a great support system which really matters with where she's at.

She moves the needle and with that comes all that pressure.

Maybe they should have put her on the bench when Iowa was up 20+ points instead of letting her keep shooting in blowout wins.

Which is why the discussion should be around Mary Lou Retton. Or even Billy Jean King who was watched by 90 milllion in one match.

Abuse of the mic today. Never-ending tales of murphy's vacations, lame chris hassel impression of frosty Mitchell. If you grew up in Iowa,he’s way off on that and not funny. I’m out.

Anyone catch Matt Postins from Heartland College Sports talking about how Dana Holgorsen might be on the hot seat if he has a bad year at Houston on M&C today?

Bad look for a guy who’s usually rock solid.

Ya not sure why they didnt correct him either. It was wierd.

She’s going to be drawing bigger rankings than CC during the Olympics that is a guarantee.
