Okoboji and Legends are both chains, though they are more of a local chain. Why do you think there would be a sports bar in Ames named Okoboji if it wasn't a chain?

There are something like four in Des Moines and one in West Des Moines. Yes, that means that they are locally owned- but they are still a chain.

And I know that there is a Okoboji's just down the block from me in Ankeny.

West Towne, The Rock-n-Rib Rolls rule! They also have a good selection of burgers. Wallaby was really good when I was in school(Early 90's) but has gone down hill since.
