We all know it is impossible to send photos or videos in Hilton during any stoppage of play so I think it is much more likely more people are involved. Like say the entire 8th row could be quickly passing a note or notes from behind the visitor bench to behind the ISU bench and down to coach TJ. Or someone has a trained pet monkey that is discretely running the info back to TJ.

It's really ironic the difference between the two coaches and their relationship to their respective universities couldn't be more stark:

TJ- This is his dream job. A place where he has spent literally half his life and almost his entire professional career. His adoptive home. It's where he met his wife, and he has forged lifelong bonds with just about anyone who is anyone in the ISU sphere of influence. His boss is just as much a personal friend as much as anything else.

(Absolutely ZERO chance he allows anyone even REMOTELY affiliated with his program to do anything approaching cheating, or anything else that would tarnish ISU's reputation. It could and probably would make him a pariah to just about every meaniful Iowa State relationship he has. I don't expect people on the outside to understand that on their own, but knowing what we know, it's just about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard on its face.)

Tang- this is just a job. (A new one in an unfamiliar place he has no personal connection to, with middling prestige and resources at that.)

This is beyond lunacy at this point. I would be embarrassed as an Iowa State fan if the roles were reversed and this was still going on days later. Either come with actual evidence or facts or let it rest. It’s been 2 days and not ONE shred of proof has been leaked. Tang wouldn’t even speak about it after the game. This is insane.

Can anyone give me instances of ISU players flopping? I'm a member of a couple of their Facebook groups and they said ISU should have been called for numerous flopping technicals and are known to flop alot.

That's a first for me and I've watched pretty much every TJ game the last 3 years
Objectively speaking, we have been pretty good at selling charges. Not to say they aren’t offensive fouls, but we can exaggerate them. Jaz did this a lot and so did Gabe.

Gilbert had a few tonight where they were clear offensive fouls, but one he went about half way across the floor. There were a few I think weren’t called charges that could have been (mostly their guards really extending their arms to clear space on jump shots).

That said, by definition a “flop” is faking one where there really isn’t an offensive foul. In that sense I don’t think we did.

But if you’re talking about selling it when there is an offensive foul I would agree that we do that.

Oh come on. We all know we can't beat K State in anything unless we cheat. They are SO superior!

My understanding is that we use Bigfoot, the alien mothership and Mothman to steal and relay communications. Very complicated.

This whole thing is freaking absurd. Are all KState fans conspiracy nut jobs? I doubt it, but there is no way that any of that happened for all the reasons mentioned in this thread. There is 0 chance this is true. Kstate fans are embarrassing themselves. I get being upset you lost, but ffs it is only a basketball game. Get a life.

I've lived all over the nation, all with something that makes it uniquely beautiful. Nowhere is better than anywhere else. At least not in a sweeping fashion. Ames is beautiful in its own way. And, above most it's the people that define its beauty. I traveled to every Big8 (yes. that old) school during college. Everywhere, again, had something truly wonderful about it.
When I played at other schools, I was the one reaching down to pick the opponent up off the ground. If nothing else, a show of respect and good sportsmanship.
I watched the replay yesterday. I'm truly confounded how people can get so worked up over trivial matters. While I laughed at the people behind the bench when he got the "T", at the same time I was truly embarrassed how adults could behave so childishly. I guess I was just raised in an era with a little more respect and cordiality.
The ISU fans got riled up due to what Tang and his coaches were doing, waving about, saying, complaining.

The KSU coaches got riled up for some reason, we may never know what it really was about. I find it hard to believe what some fans say they say, is true. It's hearsay. Somebody knows. We won't, most likely.

Iowa State, the school, and it's fans have been in the Big 8, and the Big 12 a long time. We know good sportsmanship, and good competition. We pride ourselves by being fair and playing by the rules. Something is fishy about this whole thing.

It's making for an entertaining first half of the conference season, that's for sure.

On Jan 24th at 11pm TJ receives a text:

They are going to throw up a three.

They agreed to not discuss it publicly and then it was leaked within an hour or two after the game to an EMAW site (in fairness CW discussed the allegations too) and Kellis Robinette published an article about it. Tang has basically publicly accused TJ of cheating and I would be livid if I was TJ. I'm guessing TJ thinks its more trouble/distraction than its worth but after EMAW straight up made **** up and then consistently pushed the lies about racist remarks and fans throwing things (Including Tang's wife on Twitter) I'm pretty disgusted with their fanbase and wouldn't mind some sort of public calling out. If these assclowns want to whisper about some BS conspiracy theories lets have it out in the open and everyone can decide for themselves how ******* stupid EMAW is.
She is his sister, FWIW.

Can anyone recap the last 20 pages?
Well deserved picking on KSU twitter and X fans. A few pages back some gal named Taylor a KSU fan was cute enough. Someone posted her about being mad enough to take a swing at someone if she would have been in Hilton

There is a top-secret Wi-Fi account they are using to send the messages, from the hi-tech mop handles.

They have no proof of anything other than what the coaches are claiming. It's complete BS, and if I was TJ and the ISU AD I would be livid. Hinting at this stuff and saying it happened without providing any evidence whatsoever is complete BS. If they are going to leak this crap to their local media buddies then they should just be forthright with what exactly they saw to level those accusations. But that won't happen because if they are actually honest about what they saw everyone will rightfully paint them as paranoid loons. I think most outside the K-State bubble see it that way anyways, but still this is ridiculous that TJ and the ISU AD have to deal with this kind of crap on any level.
Reasonable. It would be very nice if TJ and our AD would put out a 'put up or shut up' defend-type statement. It's not going to happen with them unless more inflammatory hearsay statements continue to be made by KSU fans or media about the game.

This will just fade away. We are now looking at the K-State coaching staff differently, or at the least more negatively than before, and their fans as delusional and whiney. For some this is probably new. Others who have been around a while just may say this is another chapter in the rivalry. They probably feel the same about us.

I've been a Cyclone fan a long time. This doesn't nothing to increase my respect for KSU and fans. But it's just sports, and it's just another game.

My dislike for the average KSU fan would be way worse if I went to EMAW. I don't ever go there after checking it out many years ago. I won't go there again. And that's best.
