Just read a mind blowing stat.

In NBA recorded stats history there have been 17 times a player has had at least 25 points and 15 assists and 0 turnovers.

3 of those 17 times are Tyrese Haliburton just in this short start of this season. The other 14 are 14 different players who did it just once. That is nuts when you think about high assist guys like Magic, Kidd, Nash, Jokic, Bird, CP3, Stockton, etc...

What Tyrese and Brock are doing right now is utterly insane.

Matt's dealing with a foot injury and is still on Alba's roster. He last played NOV 17 in a EuroLeague game but he only played 11 minutes; I suspect that that's when the injury occurred.
Thanks. I knew he was playing for Alba (Alba sucks apparently) and been following the box scores. then he just stopped appearing, and hard to find info

Yeah, there's not much English language press coverage.

ALBA has been good in most years - they have a great following - but after qualifyig for the EuroLeague, it seems like they're not up to the task this year. The EuroLeague is VERY good. That could mean that the internationals that they've brought in won't be back. They've gotten quite far along in the EuroCup, which is a rung lower, including playing vs. Matt's (winning) Valencia squad a few years ago. And they'll probabaly finish toward the top of the Germany league.

Thx. ETA on his return since you seem to be plugged in?

The above-referenced Bill Simmons clip comparing Brock Purdy and Tyrese Haliburton is now on Youtube. How does it not come up that they were friends in college at ISU? The panel thinks that Hali is now 1st-team All NBA, with Luka.
