Grundys up a class. It will be tougher sledding than previous years for them.

Grundy is fine unless they get Columbus again. Columbus dominated that game but gave away two scores (int in own end zone and a 98 yard fumble return).

In 4A:
Bondurant was probably the favorite to win state, and they are going to get bounced in the first round.
They have lost too many players to injury, including two of the better players in the state for the year.
Sucks for them. I think ADM has also.

Speaking of school consolidation, Van Buren has the logos of the tiny schools that eventually ended up in the VBCSD. Towns that consolidated to form new schools, Harmony and Fox Valley. Just kind of interesting.

I was told Harlan has 6 starters injured and three will play. All 6 played the first time Harlan played them. I have no way to confirm. That changes everything. I don't know how to validate this. But makes it less interesting of a game if true.

They're in different pods. The pods represent potential quarterfinal opponents. If the rankings hold, CL/WL would be the title game.

I’m not sold on Grundy. They struggled in a few games they shouldn’t have this year and had a pretty weak district outside of Columbus. I assume they make the dome but I don’t think they’ll win it again
