Unless Houston can get past West Virginia on Thursday night, we'll be in prime position to be the first hateful 8 team to go down to an expansion team vs Cincinnati next weekend. 11 Am kick
That hasn’t worked for the sound system. We’re an engineering school. Get the civic nerds on this already.
In their defense, it's usually a player thing. Camera guy did a nice job of cutting away lol.Need a brush up on the lyrics, lol. Watch Cmc and Mac kinda just act like they know the words.
It's in the book! You know, the binder. Every player and coach should know it.Need a brush up on the lyrics, lol. Watch Cmc and Mac kinda just act like they know the words.
Probably the same book with the NCAA gambling rules as well. Based on current events, I’m guessing they just can’t find itIt's in the book! You know, the binder. Every player and coach should know it.![]()
It might get highlighted next year?Probably the same book with the NCAA gambling rules as well. Based on current events, I’m guessing they just can’t find it
It also gives the other team's offense more opportunities and can have your defense on the field a lot. I think the theory is to keep the defense from substituting and to hit them with the next play while they're still thinking about what happened on the last time. There's a risk the offense may not be fully committed to the next play either and it definitely leads to more mistakes. Done occasionally, it can help capitalize on momentum.Seems like hurry up is still utilized by teams with good offenses and experienced QB’s. Don’t know why TCU is doing it, but I can understand OU. Maximize the number of snaps so your offense has more opportunities.
You don’t think it was highlighted this year?!?!It might get highlighted next year?![]()
Well yeah, Mr. picky! Of course "it" (the gambling thing) got highlighted! Highlighted, lectured, tested, etc.You don’t think it was highlighted this year?!?!
Seems like hurry up is still utilized by teams with good offenses and experienced QB’s. Don’t know why TCU is doing it, but I can understand OU. Maximize the number of snaps so your offense has more opportunities. But it requires the ability of your offense to make decisions without the coaches spoon feeding it. This is what ISU has always lacked.
And I think we've got a QB now, who can run tempo at times. Our other players and younger players will continue to learn.I thought we looked pretty good the times we ran back to back plays, it seemed to catch TCU off guard.
