Is the window closed to sign with a new team? Cops said he didn’t cause problems and did as he was told. No idea about how many DUI s he has had.
Agreed. I could see the university requiring a full time driver. He's too important to just throw away.
Not saying what I think should or shouldn’t happen, but I doubt he gets fired, especially with the class he has coming in.
DUI’s actually get raises around those parts. They’re celebrating that it was just booze and not meth.
First time he did what he was told and didn't put up a fight.
As a WVU fan, i see this as a golden opportunity to upgrade. Huggins is 69, and his style of coaching isnt for most young players today.
Joe Mazula or Darris Nichols, if hired, would hold the transfer class in place, and maybe add to it.

As to the posts about a "few drinks', dude is 300 bills plus and had to have been drinking a LOT of drinks to pop over the limit.
I love Huggins. He is from the bones of West Virginia, but WVU cant keep him now. Just too much too soon on the heels of a radio gaff that makes one wonder if he's getting early-stage dementia.
The only question now is how much it costs to lure mazula home. Celtics have deep pockets too, but im not sure they want a bidding war with WVU.
It’s obviously not as big a deal as betting on the nba or mlb if you’re a college athlete.
Same thing happened with the STL Cardinals broadcast guy, Dan McGlaughlin. He had two DUIs and barely got to keep his job. He cleaned himself up but last offseason he got another DUI and was canned. Dude had a broadcasters dream job: six figures to call baseball games for 6 months out of the year. And lifetime job security unless you screw it up, which he did.
Not excusing the behavior, but logic and reason go out the window for addicts.
