I don’t get it. Why would you transfer from an institution like Stanford or UCLA to Baylor in a non-revenue sport? Even if you do get playing time and make it to the WNBA, your salary would almost certainly be higher with a degree from UCLA or Stanford instead.

That’s because these announcers aren’t Baylor specific. The play-by-play guy (Lincoln Rose) is stationed in the Austin/San Antonio area and has done many UTSA football and basketball games.
