Lipsey doesn't need to reach for the steal there. He has to keep in front of his man in that situation. Maybe someone else let him down on the backside, but the reach is dangerous there.

every year when i think we've just managed to shed the Heart-attack Clones moniker, we play one of these halves. i think we still win, but if we want to do anything in the tournament, we've got to find some way to get back on the rails quicker when things stop going our way.

What was that somebody said about Tech just trying to get it within 10 by the 8 minute mark? Almost there … 11 point margin with just under 8 to play.

That was me. They have been successful and I have a strong feeling they're going to finish it.

Seems like style of play determines fouls. Texas Tech has been attacking the basket and getting calls. We stand around and throw lazy passes. The last 2 times down the court, we attack and Tech gets called for fouls.

one thing this team is terrible at is sensing when its our turn to get a whistle and forcing the refs to blow it on the other team.
