Some interesting games yesterday that weren't on this list - KU bitchslapped Mizzou, Arkansas beat OU (welcome to the SEC, boys), and Xavier & Cincy went down to the wire. Between KU/Mizzou and Xavier/Cincy I'm not sure which pair hates each other more. Makes for some very physical basketball when the game is close.
One other note...I didn't watch the Nebraska/Purdue game but Jorbo was whining all over twitter that Nebby got robbed. Crazy times!

The Flipside Project … Winless teams, thru Dec. 10 - down to two, both in P6 league:
ACC: Louisville (0-9)
Pac-12: California (0-11)
—> SWAC has five 1-win teams: Florida A&M, Jackson State, Texas Southern, Alabama State and Mississippi Valley State.
Louisville has 6 losses in a row by an average of 25.6 points.

How is that even possible in the days of NIL and transfers? It's not like they are some unknown crap program either.

I have no general sympathy for NU, but ... that call is horrendous.
Did you watch the Arizona vs Indiana game last night? Worst missed goal tending call I've ever seen. Ball was at the very bottom of its shot arc, that huge guy for Arizona literally takes out of the rim.

It's mind boggling how bad some officials are.

Caught a headline recently analyzing the lack of portal success, from Louisville Courier-Journal (it's paywalled, but I can post link anyway)

3-day roundup/look-ahead:

Unbeaten teams in action Tuesday, Dec. 13
(None)

Unbeaten teams in action Wednesday, Dec. 14
Mississippi State (vs. Jackson State)

Unbeaten teams in action Thursday, Dec. 15
Utah State (vs. Westminster)

I imagine both of those will remain unbeaten, but shocking upsets do happen. (Those would be extremely shocking, though)

If Louisville isn't careful, they may actually win a game.
Speaking of ... UL wasn't "careful" enough :)

The Flipside Project (winless teams): Louisville gets its first win (vs. Western Kentucky) … California (0-11) clinches the “crown” for 2022-23 season. Will the Bears’ skid continue even further? Next game: Sunday, Dec. 18, at Santa Clara.

Oddity: Based on current NET ranking, WKU gets strapped with a Quad 4 loss … by losing AT Louisville.

UNLV and Virginia lost today, and Virginia was the last ACC team standing so the ACC is out now. Four conferences and five teams left.
