I love the “Covid year doesn’t count” folks. Fine then, Look at the 2017-2019 seasons and tell me that he was a bad coach. I’ll let you explain that one.

I think the point there is that the program itself basically peaked around the time we made the Alamo bowl. The flukiness of the covid season masked that but its more obvious now.

I see younger pictures of myself and say.........that was me?

The beauty of that analogy is that while I'll never be that young again........he CAN return to the coach he was 5-6 years ago who had zero problem benching players who would not perform, making changes mid-season and pulling out all stops to win a game.

That Matt Campbell is MIA.

hoooooo those announcers mentioning Campbell likes developing instead of getting transfers. . . I don't like the sound of that. The development on offense has been horrendous.

Yeah, that's the kind of stubbornness that if true will limit his time here. Like it or not, the transfer portal is the reality of where college sports are now.

We obviously have had transfers come in. But for Campbell to say he doesn’t want to play that game in todays CFB world is just stupid. Don’t you have to adapt with times, otherwise you’ll be left behind? That’s just too stubborn with his ways.

That was ugly.

I don’t want to get rid of Campbell and not sure if firing Manning would have any impact without a change to the overall strategy. We have to be more aggressive on offense. They held back a great offensive unit last year with conservative play calling and didn’t provide any spark with play calling for the offense this year.

It’s year 7. We have better players than when Campbell first arrived and should be more aggressive.

Agree. Two stupid targeting calls and losing to Leach with a month to prepare....that sucked. Loved that team and they deserved better.
