I just love how some people expect every freshman to be an automatic stud right away. Just because some do it right away doesn't mean it applies to every freshman.

Being sloppy with the ball wasn't just a freshman thing so it's weird people are jumping on one player.

Worked out and ISU has lots to tighten up on.

It's 100% going to be a problem for officiating. Would rather it didn't exist. Flopping sucks but most of these flop calls we see need to be no calls
Right. Taking a charge requires you to plant both feet even if you have momentum, which can make you fall to the ground even without contact. Thats like a WR catching a pass inbounds by dragging his toes. There’s a big difference between a “failed attempt to draw a charge” where you also fell down VS “pretending contact happened” by falling to the ground.

Yeah he's now 8-9 on his FTs. There aren't too many 90% FT shooters who can't hit 30% of their 3s.
After seeing defenses sag off him, I’m thinking that he needs to start putting up 3s even if its simply to keep defenses honest. Otherwise it can become a problem

His arc on his FTs looked pretty flat to me so as you go further out that will cause issues. Haven't seen him shoot enough 3s to know if that is the same as his jumper though.
