But you could gain 99 yards every drive and never score. Does that really matter?

Nobody doubts we can sometimes move the ball, but it hits a brick wall at about the opponent’s 35 yard line every drive we convert a 3rd down. That’s when bend but don’t break defenses kick in to high gear and we have no answer.

The concerning part for Iowa is that they don't have a QB room moving forward. That program is in trouble in more ways than one.

How many times are Iowa fans going to get hood winked into the idea that the OC is the problem? KOK, Greg Davis, and Now Brian... Nothing ever changed, it's the same offense that Kirk has ran his entire career. It all starts with line play and Doyle is gone... funny how everyone outside of the Iowa fanbase and fanboy media knew this would happen.
