Mayhouse has that same metal pot and Styrofoam cup for water. Speaking of which, the last couple times I have been in Ames Mayhouse has had a closed until further notice sign. Anybody know what is going on with it?
Tina easily could have been mayor of Ames. She ran that place.
Was that by Tip Top? My parents used to talk about that and when Hickory Park was over that area. (I remember when HP was Bonanza)

Maybe this is partially due to the fact that after our ME421 final, the prof told us that we did enough to earn an A, even though nothing worked, and took us there to buy us pizza and beer
I was surprised when they closed because it always seemed to be busy when we were there. Granted, the last time was probably a couple years before they closed. Unique atmosphere and whatnot should have made it viable. But I guess that’s the story of most closed restaurants.
Why hasn't anyone mentioned Hometeam? When you needed a $5 XL pizza at 2AM, they were there for you. You absolutely regretted it the next day, but that night it was exactly what you needed.
