You couldn’t get a TD on an FCS team my man, most teams would immediately fire some of their coaching staff for that. That was an abomination of a performance. If I am any type of skill position player I’m abandoning ship as soon as possible.

I'm entirely kidding 6 wins feels like a stretch at this point. Before the day I saw iowa at -6.5 next week. I could see that being a pick'em by Monday.

I’m done seeing Iowa struggle week 1 and getting my confidence up week 2. We haven’t looked great at all times today either and SEMO is bad bad. I thought Iowa SDSU would be close, just thought it would be a 17-13 type game.
I'm so disappointed with the offensive line. Seemed like in offseason they were sold as a bigger, deeper unit but it looked like last year's minus the star Center. Petras somehow played worse than how he ended last year. I actually thought it would be near impossible to take a step backwards offensively

Fair point, but there are plenty of fcs teams at the top that have stout DLs that are better than many D1 teams. I’ve seen UNIs DL completely work our OL week 1 and we still went on to have decent seasons. I do think it starts at the top though and think Iowa has to somehow break free from Brian, which won’t happen till Kirk leaves.
