Daniels entered 2021 as a favorite to win the Heisman Trophy and a top-ranked NFL draft prospect. When he has been healthy he has been unstoppable.

If Daniels wins the job, he'll play behind an offensive line that features all five starters returning.

We've beaten far better QB's than JT Daniels. I'm not that worried about a guy that got beat out at Georgia. He'll probably be solid for them, I don't think he's like the OU QB's, Mahomes or Will Grier.

I understand his pedigree but pretty injury issues, pretty "meh" numbers and lost his starting job at 2 different schools. I guess I'll be worried when he shows he can perform up to his high school reputation.

It may be a couple of years before it shows on the field but Tx Tech is putting together a monster recruiting class. Already have four 4 stars recruits signed.

Yeah, with the new coach being a fantastic recruiter, I think Tech is going to step ahead of TCU and Baylor. They will be 2nd best team in Texas after TAMU.

I notice that WVU has another freshman QB he can lose the job to.

Isn’t Slovis at Pitt now, or is that another former USC QB? So they’d face one another.

Some transfers fit in and play well, and some show exactly why they likely did not have success at the places from which they transferred.

We took on Mahomes before, so we ought to be able to deal with JT Daniels at JTS.
Yeah, but we don't have this guy:

Not to diminish GA winning the Natty last year but I thought that their starting QB was the least impressive player they put on the field.

Not that I want anyone to get hurt in any way but he has to prove he can last a full season.
