Wow, is WV going to have any returning players left? They may have more attrition than we did last year with our coaching change.

It's looking rough for them. And Huggins usually doesn't do that well with getting top transfers.

Yes exactly. Maybe not their "best" player, but sort of the guy that makes everything go. When you watch them he is just ALWAYS making things happen on both ends of the court.

When I would watch McNeil play, I thought he was a very good 3pt. shooter, even tho we held him at bay during one of our matchups. I see he finished at 36% from behind the arc. So as we all want 'shooters', just what percentage constitutes a huge pickup as a transfer 'shooter'?

So true. I'm not sure what Ttech would consider him, because they have really embraced position-less basketball, but he is more or less their point guard from my observation.

36 would be good. Would tie for 2nd on our team this year, and the guys at the top for us (Kunc, Brockington, Jackson) were kind of on a lower volume. I'd happily take McNeil's 36% on 155 attempts. Seems like 35-36% is a good baseline.

I think anyone in that 32-33% range is hitting enough to keep defenses honest and it opens up the rest of the offensive options to them. Hitting .333 from 3 is the same PPP as hitting .500 from 2.

Frankly, having some shooters who maybe don't set the world on fire but are consistent might be more valuable to the team. So many of our shooters were totally feast or famine. Guys knew if some of our shooters missed their first two it was unlikely they were going to do much if any damage from behind the arc that day.

With the line moved back and if the guy has shot a high volume- anything over 35/36% is solid.

Once a guys is around 39/40%, back the truck up, the guy's an top-level 3 point shot. Get a 43%+ guy and he's elite.

Looked here for the first time, but LOL at Texas' guys and their big eyes. Projected to have four depart for the NBA. C'mon

Timmy Allen, Marcus Carr, and Courtney Ramey all declared last year. Andrew Jones just finished his 6th year of college. All of them went through senior night. So that's why they are all projected to enter the draft. Granted none of them will be getting drafted more than likely.
