I’m going to assume it’s somehow related to Iowa playing a terrible schedule in a down big 10, and winning some games.

At least, i think that has something to do with it

Iowa should have some success because they have a super talented multi-faceted player along with a few legit threats from 3 and don't play vs. good defenses regularly.

Things are a little harder for an undersized ISU team with out much for consistent threats vs. Tech who averages 6'8 guys that look and run like football players.

I dislike iowa as much as anybody on this board - but they are a dangerous team right now. Not somebody you want to play.

Weber's exit comment about not wanting to tell K-State recruits about social media sites was telling. Too much crap from the cliff dwellers.
I wonder if he was talking about the right fan base?

I dislike iowa as much as anybody on this board - but they are a dangerous team right now. Not somebody you want to play.

Did they suddenly learn how to guard, and recruit a brand new backcourt?

I get the feeling people have just decided to ignore TJ's recruiting history at ISU.

Right. If Prohm had to fill say, 4 scholarships, that would be reason for concern. Not worried that TJ can get some talented players to Ames. The guys he brought in this year certainly have their limitations, but to even get P6 caliber players interested in Iowa State following last years debacle is no small feat.

An all-in ISU senior who's seen the worst of times in the history of the program and by all accounts has had great presence in the ISU community was called a POS in a win.

It's remarkable that there wasn't at least a time out given there.

That was one of the worst things I’ve seen on this site. A player that loves ISU, is great with fans, plays hard, and has given a ton of sweat to ISU for four years gets called a POS. Not because he committed a crime, bad mouthed anybody, but because he didn’t play well in a W. Should be a lifetime ban.

Big 12--> EVERYBODY traps
big ten--> Nobody traps.

It's an oversimplification but it always reminds me of the pickup defense at the rec where you square up for a few shuffles and then you kind of just run beside them when someone makes a move.

It's frustrating to see Iowa take advantage of it. Credit to them for doing it, but they haven't been tested much all year. Especially with that backcourt. Hopefully they are set up for another letdown in the first weekend.

I'm only 22 so I've really only experienced 4 coaching staffs that I vividly remember....obviously what TJ has done in just one year is remarkable and there's so much promise going forward. That said, I'm not sure if I have experienced this much of a roller coaster season. We went undefeated in non con, we all knew Big 12 play was going to be tough because it's absolutely loaded with excellent teams.

I think the reality of some of these games is that our guys are exhausted and we don't have a lot of talent/shooters and depth. I'm hoping since we won't be playing a Big 12 defense in round 1, that will bode well for us because Tech has to be one of the best, if not THE best defense in the nation.

I’m still completely confused on Enaruna. How do you go from a starter to no playing time, especially when the rest of the team is playing like trash. Why isn’t local media asking these basic questions instead of constantly coddling him?

Both. Telegraphing passes has been an issue all season as has been streaky scorers being insanely streaky.

Tech wasn't going to let any sort of rythm happen last night. Their coach said it's the best they've played all season so that kind of bad timing doesn't help.

They can’t shoot consistently, and that makes everything else look worse.

This year was amazing, we melted up and broke out so hard in December and anyone with some sense knew that was the top because of the thrill of low expectation success. TJ has something to sell this offseason with 20 wins.
