I'd like to get your regular and wheat hand-tossed crust recipe.

1.5 cups warm milk
1 tsp salt
2 tsp honey
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic
3.5 cups white flour
.5 cups wheat flour
4 tsp yeast

Knead together, let rise 2 hours, beat it down, let it rise another 1.5, and go to town...

Big Tomato reminds me of The Stine in Cedar Falls. I am not sure if it's around anylonger but they had great Drunk guy pizza. Then when you eat it sober it's alright. Nothing special. Except the Stine in Cedar Falls was horrilbe when you were sober.

Blank Golf Course pizza is good, but nothing spectacular. Especially since you're already on the south side, and just a stones throw from Bordenaros :D

What about your top 5? you sound like you know what you are talking about!
:notworthy:
haha
I don't really have a top 5. I honestly haven't been to most of these places in the list, and I don't think I'm qualified to speak!

Plus, I'm more of a deep dish guy myself :wideeyed:

LOL-That is so funny. You're bringing back some old memories. I remember going in there when I was 18. It was about the only bar on the hill where I could get past with a fake ID.

Sad its no longer there. Great pizza after $.25 pitchers.

Personally, when it comes to pizza, I believe there's an inverse relationship between the attractiveness of the dining space and the quality of the pizza. My two favorite pizza places are Leaning Tower (Ankeny) and Polito's (Boundarant), but neither one has a very attractive or very spacious dining area.
