Random Thoughts 16: “Somebody had to do it” edition

Watching a bad TV series (not much else so I’m plowing through it). Finished season one and let Hulu take me right to season 2. Watch five minutes and try to figure out how it go to this. Turns out Hulu doesn’t like episodes 1-7 so it only has 8 on for season 2. What the Hell? Why does it do that?

Being that I have to get up and deal with work at 11pm I had to lie down for a bit and missed the end of that epic Kc vs Buff game. Hopefully they replay that on the NFL network later this week.

I was going through the older Survivor seasons on Hulu and found out they like to drop an episode here & there. Very disconcerting.

Just got off the phone with a DIL. My older son is in the hospital. She took him to the ER around 1am last night...he underwent surgery today to remove a kidney stone that measured 8mm by 10mm. YOWCH!!! They're keeping him overnight again tonight in an abundance of caution.
I've always said between the pain of the kidney stone cramping and the pain of labor it's a real toss-up to me which is worse. One thing about it...now my son has a better idea of what Em went through to give him four daughters.

25.4mm = 1 inch so about like your (my) index fingernail --5/16" x 3/8"

Got out and ice fished with a friend Monday afternoon/night and a trout stream today for a bit.

Need to make the effort to get out like that more often. Nice connection in the outdoors.

We are looking for one MBB ticket to Missouri, so if you know someone with one please let me know. My sister sold 2 of our 4 to a friend so he could bring his daughter to celebrate daughter's birthday (they live in far nw Iowa) and now sister is without. I wanted to wait until TCU game was done before posting in the ticket forum so it didn't get lost.

Ha. Ice fished one day.

Trout stream a different day.

Although the lower parts of the trout stream were frozen over.

I usually need to fish near the springs this time of year for a good wade.

So true! I wrote out my unused letters and tried to go through them all. Even kind of cheated, I guess, and started entering combinations that I was pretty sure were not words, just so I could cross them off my list.
