Wasn’t thinking. I should have texted you. Was your dad there?

You bet! Me and him made the trip! It was great! Actually was in my seats (high ones) up and to the left (?)of KC then went and sat with him when I realized it wasn't going to fill up.

Not exactly sure.
@wxman1 Nike, sweat shop labor but huge profits. Could pull some at least into North America.

Iowa DNR. Ask them a question in order to do the right thing, but if they tell you the wrong answer, you will still be fined for doing it wrong.

Reason I asked was I saw this guy leave the restroom afterwards and thought, that guy looks familiar. When you mentioned being there it kind of struck me.

Actually turned out to be the youngest and the Mrs. with me. Oldest said he goes to games all the time so he thought it would be nice if his mom got to go.

I worked at two Granite Citys and some of the ways I saw workers get let go were pretty awful.

Also after about a decade of being in Madison the management/workers went to work one morning and the company had closed that spot with no warning.

Are you sure that was the reason? I remember wishing I could stay home while my parents went somewhere.

We ended up with two empty seats on both sides of our seats today. Someone could have sat there. Just saying.

Speaking of which, I go see the doc on Monday and start my aqua therapy on Tuesday if he gives me the go-ahead. I also think he will give me permission to start going downstairs again at that point (I hope I hope I hope). I am also hoping that maaaaaaybe I will get to go to games in February. I'll probably have to trade our tickets in for seating in the ADA sections, but still...to be back in Hilton...
Cross your fingers for me!

Eh...five tries. I really REALLY wanted to use "KOLAR" as my fourth word, but I figured it wouldn't be in the WORDLE dictionary. ;)

ADIEU
YACHT
ROBIN
SOARS
SOLAR

I would probably do better if I quit using elimination words with dead letters like my third word, but I'm lazy!

You really struggle with those spoilers, don't you? It must be harder on a phone.
For some reason it keeps glitching on me and this is on my laptop. I had no problems before a couple of days ago and now it keeps doing the double spoiler thing and it won't go away even if I start over from scratch. I don't care, it will probably go away eventually so why sweat it...

Five tries today.

Wasn't really disappointed about it. Usually more competetive than that.

Well interesting roads on the way to work today. Right lane was good but evidently the left was slick 2 cars in the median, within about 5 miles of each other.

I think our local deer herd is hunkered down still. Not a single track in the snow, front, side or back of the house.

No tracks at our house either, because the neighborhood buck right walked down the shoveled walk and driveway, looked both ways for traffic and strolled up the street. Lucky for him it was Saturday, since he took his walk during prime evening commute time.

If you didn't know, deer commonly herd up in severe storms/cold, so one may see 50 deer or none.

Best effort on Wordle today, in 3.

We have a fairly decent herd in our woods - they yard up in a stand of scrub cedar about a half mile away to the NE, and make a twice daily trek from there along the creek to the meadows by the larger creek to the NW that our runoff creek feeds into. They also come down from the SW across our lane and our drive, through our front yard, and down to the creek between the house and the garagemahal about 30 yards away.
I guess my observation was in agreement with your comment about herding up. generally we see the tracks the next day. Matter of fact, last year they even tamped out a heart shape in our front yard. This snow is the deepest level we've had in a while, deep enough to convince them to "stay home". :D
