Looks like #11. (Unable to link story immediately).

Edit w/ link.

I don't think we should have dropped at all. A 5-pt loss to #1 after shooting 1/14 from 3-pt, and still a chance to win it. Hopefully this puts a bigger fire in the bellies of our players.

I don't think how we shot from 3 should factor in at all. If a team is a poor three point shooting team should they get a pass? How about if they have a bad night shooting free throws? What if they have a bad game taking care of the ball and turn it over a lot?

It is the game ISU played. Baylor's defense might have had something to do with it as well. Playing #1 to within 5 is good but that's it.

Exactly. Shooting 1/14 is attributed to Baylor's switching defense and most guys being well guarded throughout the game, especially around the perimeter

So two of the three kept us at #25.
Brownlow moved us from 25 to 13 and next lowest from wk8, gerson had us 19 and moved us to 15.
I was pretty hard on Brownlow and Gerson before but at least when they saw that ISU was for real against the #1 team in the country they moved ISU up on their ballots. Newell and DeCock on the other hand...

There were plenty of wide open looks on 3's without a BU defender anywhere around. But I don't understand your points. If we had beaten BU should we have stayed at #8? Losing by only 5 to the #1 on a poor shooting day shouldn't equate to dropping out of the top 10.
