I'm proud of Matt. He was out for 2.5 weeks and came back to contribute to the Bulls' W tonight. He ended with those 5 PT that he had in the 1st half but the team did well with him in there. Caruso and Ball are still both out so he provided depth and insurance, which is why he was signed. He ended up with 3 REB, 2 AST, 0 TO and 0 PF in 19 MIN. Matt Thomas, professional basketball player.

Philly had their starters back and some of their bench and took home an easy W vs. Washington (missing Beal). Georges had the most minutes off the bench for the 76ers and had 6 PT on 2-6 / 2-4 shooting to go with 5 boards. He was hacked badly on a drive but didn't get the call.

Tyrese just missed on getting 20 for the 5th straight game, ending with 18 PT and 7 AST in a big loss to Memphis. He's continuing his best stretch of the season.

Matt's plays from last night - that was a sweet 3 that he hit.

Kind of a strange game for the Nuggets who are back to .500 with a 3-point win over the short-handed Clippers. Monte ended up with kind of typical numbers but almost all of his scoring was in a 10-point burst early in the 2nd half to take a lead then the Nuggets didn't score for 5+ minutes and started the 4th behind.

Monte started 1-7 from the field but ended with 12 PT on 5-14 FG and 5 AST and 1 TO. Uncharacteristically, his TO was in the last 30 seconds of the game when they were trying to seal the win.

Good pass by the Joker but also quick movement without the ball by Tae:

Good for him!

He might be on track to 'stick' for a few years which is really cool.
Fingers crossed. He's still vulnerable for the JAN 10 date at which point all contracts are guaranteed and picking up a vet through a buy-out for depth.

Matt contributed to a Bulls' win for the 3rd time this season, as they took down Atlanta, featuring Charlie Kolar's HS point guard. Matt had similar minutes to last night - 12 in the 1st half and 7 in the 2nd half and he doubled his 3-point total for the season. His line: 19 MIN, 9 PT, 3-6 FG, 3-5 3PT, 2 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL and 0 TO.

No Lonzo Ball and no Caruso tonight so Matt got some run.

He isn't exactly asked to create for the Bulls but he has no turnovers so far this season.

He's raised his 3PT % to a respectable 37.5%.

Prior to tonight's game vs. Golden State, Monte had played in and started all 32 of Denver's games.

The 76ers led most of the game, lost the lead late but pulled out a win vs. Nick Nurse's boys. Georges even was put back in the game late to try to ice it. Solid line for the MInivan: 22 MIN, 19 PT, 7-10 FG, 5-8 FG, 3 REB, 2 AST, 0 TO and a team-high +12.

His point total included an awkward-yet-beautiful left-handed finish off a drive, against Svi "Layup from the logo" Mykhailiuk.

THT did NOT start last night. He had 2 PT on 1-4 shooting, playing 7th-man minutes, in the Lakers' 132-123 win over the Rockets. We'll see if the change of the starting lineup continues.

ANOTHER double-double for Haliburton. The kid is crushing it. The Kings get a W over OKC.

Points, his last 6 games: 21, 27, 24, 22, 18, and 24.

Assists, his last 7 games: 9, 10, 11, 11, 13, 7, and 10.

In November, he averaged 11 PPT. In December, it's 17. I don't think that any Cyclone in the last 10 years has had a better stretch.
