I stopped watching the game out of frustration. But what I took away from the 1st half was that we really have some talent. A really glaring issue from my seat was Brackins. He really doesn't put forth much effort on defense or on the boards.
We all knew we weren't going to be that good this year with such a young team.

Some did. Not I. I said we needed to see more of it. Right now, we're not.
He's not an NBA caliber player right now - period. Inconsistent as hell and when he gets frustrated, his game goes to complete ****. This is fact.
Any mystery why our home attendance sucks? Exhibit One - Three consecutive losses to Drake. Exhibit Two - 23 Pt @ss whipping at the hands of Iowa.

You're exactly right....we've probably had as many as Iowa, but then they have an excellent coach.
I'm gonna have a hangover tomorrow, the beers keeps going down as the score goes up!
Please see the edit to my previous post - I said he was inconsistent. He's also been on the court for one year and about 10 games. I'm not making excuses - he needs to step up. I would hardly call him an NBA caliber player at this point, either. Saying he's talentless is classless and just foolish.
In all fairness, it was the first two points you made that led to the third. Hopefully the players and coaches took notes on Iowa tonight: That is how you play defense in college ball.
Doesn't help that Craig Brackins has been a bust relative to his recruiting rankings. But then again, maybe the coaching staff hasn't coached/developed him as they should.
That does not fly just like the plane on the treadmill.
How about we caught a virus in Hawaii with the gals and we are still in recovery?.
