My family always went to drake games at Vets when I was little. It was so cheap to go. Then head to Babes restaurant before the game. Melvin Mathis, terry youngbower, Stefan Butler and Lewis Lloyd were all some of my favorite non Iowa State players

Normally, probably not. Out of curiosity I watched them earlier this year and thought they were fun to watch. Well coached and Yesufu has some ability ISU lacked.

Never would have though something could be so one sided - almost unanimous in the poll. 93 to 1 (and 17 don’t cares)!!

I wish they were healthier, because then I think they could have been pretty dangerous. The way it is I think it is more hope than reality but I'll be hoping they win.

Heck Yeah! I live in DSM and go to Drake Games. Heck, I went to their football game this past Saturday. No conflict for me rooting for Drake and Iowa State.

They are already in the Tournament. Either way, it counts as a Tournament appearance. If they win, it counts as a Tournament win. If they lose, it counts as a Tournament loss.

Rooting for Illinois. My dad and sister went to Illinois, plus I grew up in the state before leaving to Iowa State.

I'll be rooting for Wisconsin first and foremost followed by Drake. I'll also cheering for other Big 10 and Big 12 teams sans Iowa. Especially Illinois. I like them more for some reason. And then just upsets in general.

Grew up up in DM and attended games back in the Maury John era before he headed up to ISU. One day when high school let out at noon, and no bball practice that day, 3 of us walked over the Drake campus thinking we could play in their gym. Arrived just in time for the varsity team to start practices at 3PM. Coach John was nice about it, but told us "no, you won't be able to use the gym while we practice". Wasted 4 hours that day walking there and back.
With 3 children all being Illini grads and the 2 boys being big basketball fans, I will be pulling for them to win it all (enjoyed watching them take down Iowa and Ohio State last weekend to win the B10 ship).

Was hoping they could miraculously move up to 15 slot and take Iowa down in first round as revenge for them tubing the Big Four Classic or whatever they called that thing.

Could still take out Iowa but they have to win some games first.
