Anyone else hearing that JP has already decided Prohm is coming back?

if TJ didn’t have a history at ISU would we give him any consideration at all? If the answer is no, he should not be hired.
Yeah, good thing this logic wasn't applied to Fred. Fit matters and there are plenty of reasons to think TJ would have success at ISU. I'm not going to debate this, because I'm not super excited about TJ being our coach, but I'm not going to throw a big fit if it's him either.

Fair point, but Hoiberg was a very unique situation.

Pollard has to know that the majority of the fan base doesn’t want him. Is he really going to stick it to us and hire TJ? I just don’t see it, but I won’t underestimate Pollard’s ego.

We know now that TJ would have been a better choice than Prohm the last time. At this point I would take any candidate as long as Prohm is shown the door. Prohm has driven this program into the ground.

I have heard from two separate sources that it will be TJ. I take it with a grain of salt but he's definitely the favorite in my mind.

Heard the same. Disappointed but I knew the Fred thing was a pipe dream and still let myself have a glimmer of hope. Gosh I hope this works out. For ISU and for tj

After seeing Dennis Gates's name thrown around by a few in this thread I watched Cleveland State last night. I was impressed. They played really well together on both ends of the floor, rebounded hard, and had an identity. Granted, it's a very small sample size for me, but with his coaching pedigree and success, I'd like to see JP at least try to have a conversation.

Yep, could not agree more.

It's a small detail in the grand scheme of things, but I loved the energy that their bench showed throughout the game, and hearing the announcers talk about how intentional that is and how it comes from the coaches on down was really cool.

I would not be excited about TJ. He is that coach who would do just enough every year to survive another year. Multiple seasons of 5-6 conference wins...
If it's TJ, and he's not successful, JP will get lots of heat for hiring his friend. JP has posted several times visiting TJ when he was in SD and now Vegas. On the other hand, if TJ had success JP looks like he was grooming the next head coach.

Buckle up, y'all! Lol
