Boxter I have watched TT twice this year on TV and once live here in Waco. IMO they are not as good of a team as they were last year. Getting Vivian Grey was a boost for them but it doesn't seem to be making up for the loss of their all Big 12 post that they lost to graduation. They have recently lost their point guard to the transfer portal and it is affecting them. There seemed to be some hard feelings with Vivian coming in and being the go to girl. ISU should win the battle with them. They basically are now a two player team - Grey & Gordon.Going to be on ESPNU facing the new look TT team but not till Sunday. Going to be a long week but then we get four games in nine days.
Have not seen them play and don't know anything about this Marleneless team other than new coach and added Vivian Gray. With some cancelled games they haven't played anyone but creampuffs and three Big 12 games. Beat TCU and got smoked by Baylor and routed by OSU. Since they grabbed a couple players off the Cowgirls roster I kinda liked seeing OSU smack 'em hard. Need our Texas scout @geewago to fill us in.

Reading the release it seems she took the cautious approach to keep it from infecting the team. That UConn game would have been a good one though.
Iowa beat Gophers 92-78 after Gophers lead by 10 at the half in IC. Of course, my Big 10+ subscription ran out yesterday so couldn't watch. Would have renewed but Gophers are only going to win a couple for games in Big 10 this season. Was hoping my hometown gals won't suck this year but they are pretty bad. She the one player from the Big 12 I really covet and wish we could add to our roster. Imagining her in the paint with Scott free to play forward. Huge JC recruiting score for the Cowgirls.
Throwing this here for now, but it might merit its own thread if true: Izzi Zingaro has an Instagram story that seems to indicate she'll be at ISU for the spring semester starting Jan 25.

That would be cool. Jump start on acclimating to college and getting to practice with the team with no effect on 5 to play 4 is a no brainer if she can make it to campus. Does not appear they are playing HS level in Canada till April if I understand what I read correctly.

WBB Schedule Changes Announced
The Big 12 Conference has adjusted its women’s basketball schedule for this weekend.
2 more postponements -- these on OU's behalf -- and 2 games moved up from later in the year to fill gaps.
Per Instagram (again) Izzi just graduated early, so it does seem she'll be enrolling early at ISU.
the big thing is if she can make the adjustment and be able to contribute. I’m crossing my fingers!
Can she play right away? With it not impacting eligibiity, she'd still have four years. Wouldn't expect much from her, but an extra big would we welcome.
Yes. It seems unlikely she'd be in a position to get minutes from Kane, but the big advantage is that she'd hit the ground running next season.
^This. Acclimating to college life (okay, sadly a much modified covid-19 college life), practicing with the team and conditioning at P5 level will all be great for her when it comes to next season. Great for her and the team as they are likely to be really depending on the incoming posts to step up. She'll be almost like a redshirted freshman.
West Virginia is pounding Texas 76-48 in the 4th quarter. Collier just fouled out with 6 minutes left...WV has some big gals on their roster. (make UT look "small"). Will be an interesting matchup when ISU plays WV.

Watching Iowa/ #22 Northwestern. 36-36 at the half. Czinano doing most of Iowa's work, 9-9 from the field. Interesting interview with Clark at the half. Cannot dislike her even if she is playing for the Hawks.
