Hope Tre Jackson plays, would be nice to see that piece with this group, especially on the defensive end.

Consistent threat from 3 too.

ISU shot well from there last game but it didn't seem to be in reliable fashion.

Going 1-0 to begin the conference season would be spectacular. It's a great opportunity to grow, play team defense and team basketball.

I'm especially excited for all of our freshmen and newcomers. Welcome to the Big12 fellas.

Let's do this Cyclones!

what a weird b12 schedule. the only two teams we can beat we get at home the first game and the last game.

going to need some surprise wins this winter!

I had it in my head that Tre was going to be out longer for some reason.

Has there been any news on his return? I'd like him out there, but this is not the game to rush him back for if he's questionable. Knee issues scare me.

Prohm thought it would be after the Iowa game, I believe he warmed up for the Iowa (obviously didn’t play). Guess we’ll find out tonight.

I am hammering the ISU -8.5, I mean I am betting my Christmas fund on it, and let's just say if it hits, my family will be getting some sweet gifts this year.

ISU shot well from there last game but it didn't seem to be in reliable fashion.

BC we didn't take great shots. Even some that we hit were too quick in the shot clock and taken without much ball movement. This got increasing more true as the game went on, after we made a few and got behind, we got a little bit quick on the trigger. We let Iowa force us to take bad shots instead of making them pay off of the dribble, that's by design, Fran knows that's their weakness. Against an offense like theirs, a couple bad possessions and you're all of the sudden down 10, then 20.....SDSU wa similar as well.

At this point, that's what I want to see improve. I just want us to look like we have a plan that isn't stand around an watch someone else make a play. We had short runs of playing like that against Iowa but we have a couple of guys who are ball stoppers and slow everything down. It'd be nice if Jackson could help out in that regard. If we can improve spacing and ball movement, the made shots will naturally.

I can't imagine anyone laying a dime on either team in this game. Both squads are in transition years, and who knows how these youngsters will play on any given night?

I'm leaning towards ISU winning only because it's a home game but I honestly have no clue how this will go. 8.5 seems steep though.

We win tonight, but it really has way more to do with KSU being at historic levels of suck. Losing by 13 to a D2 team whos only other win is an ot win against the Newman Jets is... bad, really really bad.

I'd take the Cyclones -8.5
