Here's one article about it. There should be a better one more focused on ISU. Short answer, though, I'd cancel after that first football game, unless there's other content you want to see.

Roger. Thx for posting the article. I will read soon!
Interesting. The article is from 4/2019 and says ISU will be joing the espn+ in 2020. How come ISU football is still on cyclone.tv then? Strange.

And you'd think cyclone.tv would give their patrons some of this news via an e-mail or something, but , no.

Outscored them by 20 in the 2nd half. Not saying today was a great performance, but it's not at all surprising given that we're playing our 1st game of the season vs a team that's playing game #3, and we're playing 7 newcomers, 3 of whom are freshmen playing in the first collegiate game of their careers. Lot's of improvement from 1st half to 2nd half.

We're gonna need to keep improving very quickly with our schedule.

There are more versatile pieces with this team than last year. Looking forward to watching their development. I'm not putting anything else on them beyond that, they are too young for that.

Don't say that.... you're a terrible Cyclone fan.... and person too! Just kidding of course..... I'm just trying to fit in around here.
During the off-season, I was wondering if there was a world in which two of those 3 guys might get on the court at the same time but I don't see at it at the moment. That 4 position has changed so much that you get guys who play more on the perimeter than as the old power forward. Hopefully, it'll look like we have an embarrassment of riches at the 5 than just a group of 3 mediocre choices there. They all do some things well; I wish I saw more offensive growth from Conditt because I think his defensive positioning has certainly improved.

It's fun to have hoops to entertain us but these guys seem to be facing a tough Big 12 this year.

I like Solo and appreciate his work as a Cyclone. I wish that the coaching staff could find a scheme that would play to his strengths instead of forcing him to play a position that limits him. He is not tall or long enough to be a Big 12 post player. Maybe he needs to be the “second” big man on the floor. Two bigs and three guards.

Rough start to the day, but looked much better in second half. Our zone offense in the first half was embarrassing; I wonder if we've even worked on it yet? Watching that has me terrified for Baylor.

Our bigs still need a ton of work. Solo is quiet for long periods and Conditt/Foster are still really green. Conditt is in year 3, so time to figure some **** out in my opinion. Dubar and Blackwell both looked promising in my opinion.

Voted that we were a fringe tournament team this year. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but hopefully we'll start to gel after some more PT together.

Have you ever thought about not being a sour lil *****?

Me? So people putting me down all the time means I'm the bad one? Got it.

I question things in life..... always have. I don't just blindly drink the kool-aid. I call it like I see it. So that offends people that only want to hear positive things about ISU all the time.

Sorry, I'm not going to change on that.... that's not who I am. I will praise the good things and question the bad things. If that makes people want to criticize me and put me down.... that's on them.

I wish I could have watched today's game. Sounds like we played a lot better the 2nd half thankfully, and we've definitely got some talent. I think we still have a lot of work to do to get on the "bubble", but I think we're capable of it.

On to the next game!

Believe what you want about me.... I don't care. I don't think you're a terrible person or fan fwiw.

You're talking to a guy who got a thread shut down for light misogyny this morning. Don't sweat it.

The truth is we're likely in for consecutive down years which hasn't happened since GMac low era.

Part of it is because of the early nba departures.

Seems to me like the most versatile and well balanced team Prohm has had (not counting the first year). Probably will struggle to find a go to scorer. But likely they won't be hampered as much by consistent matchup problems.

I could see this team being one Prohm could finally overachieve with. If not I'd think his days in Ames are numbered.

I’ve always felt Solo’s best use is the 6th man at the 5. Come in and take advantage of the other team’s 2nd string or tired 5 man. He has always scored in quick spurts and can get into the flow quickly.

that being said, Conditt or Foster would have to play well enough to start.

The talent is there to surprise some teams this year if they're all firing. They have a brutal schedule to contend with for a team that will need some development.

Having watched our game today as well as S. Dk St's game vs WV, I don't have a very good feeling about that game. Unless we improve immensely from game 1 to game 2, it will likely be a loss. Hope I am wrong.
Yeah, I saw that, too and share your concern. Hopefully, some of the rust came off in the 2nd half for the Clones. Johnson looked lively at the end and passed the ball very well throughout the game.

It seems to me that Bolton, Harris and JCL can all go and get shots and shoot it decently, which every team needs. And I think Walker will get to that point too, before too long. There are some encouraging signs with this Freshman class though.

We didn't get much on the offensive side from Solo and George but both add a dimension on the defensive end. Solo doesn't elevate but he does position himself well.
