Every year Prohm praises someone during the preseason and they absolutely lay an egg during the season. Is Johnson this year’s guy?

I like Solo. He seems like he works hard and has a Big 12 body he just really isn't a very skilled b-ball player. It is what it is. He can give us minutes playing D and rebounding though.
I never really saw X Foster play before. So far, it doesn't appear to me that he can guard a lively 4 on the perimeter which means getting scraps of minutes from Young and Conditt.
Dubar, Harris, Bolton and JCL will be fun to watch. Need Javan Johnson to be better. Solid 2H. Still concerns about our defense. We will have some better answers after DePaul.
Conditt still doesn't have an offensive identity and Young completely abandoned that deadly mid-range jumper from the wing and posting for that shot off the window. Now all we get is that predictable flat hook shot.
Yeah, you should have seen how down I was on Friday after we beat Texas. My wife and kids thought I was going to go through the floor from jumping up and down so much. The dog wasn't happy with all my screaming and shouting. And then a few minutes later the tears started coming. Been waiting for a day like that as a Cyclone fan for a long time.

He is, but he has regressed each year here. The staff really sucked teaching him.
