Hence the “it’s still early” disclaimer. I know the FCS teams aren’t playing until the spring, but UNI and NDSU (and likely a handful of other FCS teams) are almost certainly better than Texas Tech this year.
Tech is nowhere near as bad as Kansas or Rutgers, yet they are ranked way below. This ranking is unless at this point and shouldn't be cited.

There will be some substantial fluctuations over the next few weeks as more data is inputted, but it’s a bit of a stretch to say the ratings are “useless” at this point when some teams have played 4 games. The ratings will certainly become more accurate as the season moves along - maybe the Big XII only ends up being really bad this year rather than historically bad, but either way the conference looks to be as bad as it has in a long time.

Let's see, just ahead of Iowa State, they have 1-1 Tesla at #15, 1-2 Arkansas, 1-2 Kentucky, 1-2 Wake Forest, 1-2 South Carolina, 1-2 Ole Miss, 1-2 Virginia, 1-2 Miss State, 1-2 Missouri, 1-2 LSU, 1-1 Georgia State, and ******* 1-4 Duke. Yes, these rankings are utter dogsh*t.

Iowa has as many wins over teams with a pulse as ISU does this year. ISU just happens to be 0-1 and Iowa 0-0 vs teams with a pulse.
So TCU and OU don't have a pulse? OU would beat the entire Big 10 west no problem. TCU would be second only behind Wisconsin

Actually Sagarin says that the following would beat OU on a neutral site: Purdue, Nebraska, MSU, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Penn St., Wisconsin and OSU.
We all know that Sagarin is revered on this site. I mean you just need to come to grips with the fact that the Big12 is closer to the Sun Belt East this year than it is to the Pac12 South. YIKES!

All of these guys had nice careers in the NFL (will soon include Hockenson and Fant)

Zeron Flemister
Dallas Clark
Scott Chandler
Tony Moeaki
Brandon Myers
CJ Fiedorowicz
George Kittle

And that doesn't even include the ones that had nice careers at Iowa with these guys:

Hockenson
Fant
Reisner
Krieger-Coble
Jake Duzey
Until Hockenson is playing at or very near the level of Kittle, he is a bust in my opinion for the place he was picked in the draft.

Interesting. So a sight that uses data from games is predicting teams that haven't even played, aka provided data, would beat teams that are currently playing and have provided data?! That's wild. GTFO with that BS. You continue to show you are probably one of the dumbest posters on this sight

The actual dumb posters are the ones who think that the Big12 is good this year.

Based on your beloved Sagarin BYU, Tulsa, West Virginia, Baylor, Okie State (big 12 schools which you said are closer to sun belt east teams and the Big 12 in general is bad, according to you), Marshall, ARKANSAS HAHAHA, UCF, and Miami-Florida are all better than your beloved Hawks. Good to know you agree with that

Saying Moeaki had a nice career in the NFL is a stretch.

NFL is a very tough business. He qualified for an NFL pension, so I call that a nice career. When healthy, he showed tons of promise and production.

If he can stay healthy, he is on pace for 60 catches, 720 yards and 8 TDs. That is a good season.

Delusional. The Big XII is terrible this year. It’s okay to admit it. It doesn’t take away anything Iowa Stare might accomplish this season.
If OU were in Okie State's position you wouldn't be saying this. You all have been saying OU runs the conference and the minute they are removed from contention, the entire conference now sucks.
